The wolf creature faded away and Zack jumped up " Ok that was freaky!" Zack said breathing hard. " Its not over yet" Jouten said looking around. The wolf like creature appeared in front of Rumor growling " Its like a freaking ghost" Zack said.

Rumor looked at Jouten with a face that basically said your stupid. "Anything that can hit you can be hit back" Rumor said drawing the sword in front of him and letting the paper fall a little before sending them all at the beast.

The paper just went through the wolf creature and just as fast it appeared behind Rumor and swatted him away with its tail. " Looks like its manifesting itself" Zack said. " Who cares Rumors right there has to be a way to beat it" Jouten said taking out a sharpened sheet of paper. Jouten quickly teleportated in front of it and slashed right through its side. The creature turned unfazed and clawed Jouten's arm.Concentrating on the power from the tome Jouten counter attacked with a full powered Sourge right in the monsters face. The creature once again appeared unfazed even from the massive blast of electricity. " Damn its no use..." jouten said breathing hard.

The wolf creature faded away again and in its place was a small owl. " It...changed forms?" Jouten asked. The owl flew into the air and grew larger to the point it was the size of a man. " What the hell are we fighting!?" Zack shouted.

"I can't tell from my current area" Rumor said throwing both the blades into the air the paper exploding and sending sharpened paper everywhere. Not wanting to leave himself defenseless he let the paper in one of his arms form a blade that went along the outside of his arm that could be used both for defense and attack. "I will be here soon I hope" he said.

The owl looked down at them one last time and then flew off into the night sky. " Its not from this world" Jouten said holding his head. " Yeah but its go so we can go back to locating the man who stole that book" Zack said. " Rumor what did you find out?" Jouten asked wearily.

"Everything" Rumor said simply reforming his arm. "Human knowledge is not a hard thing to be acquired so I do not see why people have for so long been trying to do it" he said simply as he walked to stand by Rumor.

Jouten took another look at the Note and slapped himself in the head " Wow i'm stupid! The directions to the guys house were on here all along!" Jouten said running down the street. " Well Rumor we better follow him.." Zack said shaking his head as he began to run.

"I am already there though" Rumor said tilting his head to the side in confusion before the paper forming his body broke apart and spiraled up into the air before forming and arc and going to where Rumor stood waiting for him at their destination

Jouten looked angrily at Rumor as he stopped running and looked at the house " I won't even ask Rumor but let me say I am kind of creeped out" Jouten said walking up to him. Zack followed closely behind talking on his cellphone " Yeah....I know...I will see what I can do" Zack said ending the call.

Rumor shrugged "Do you want to go in" he asked as his paper went back into the suitcase he had opened at his feet before he closed it and picked it up holding it in front of him while he stood there waiting.

Jouten ignored Rumor and opened the door " The place is empty..." Jouten said walking in. the first floor looked like it had been abandoned years and there was a staircase leading up to a second floor " Jesus why would anyone stay here?' Zack asked looking around.
