Aaron landed his familar outside a dojo on the outskirts of China. It had been two days since his journey began and he decided to pay his old master a visit. " Master Ryoku! Are you here!?" he called out. The door to the dojo opened and an aging man walked outside " Ah Aaron I see that after all these years you finally decide to see visit." Ryoku said. Aaron took off his glasses and threw them to the ground " Master I am here for one reason only. That is to test my strength against yours" he said. Ryoku smiled at his old apprentice " Very well we shall have a battle that will shake the foundations of this planet. Aaron fight now!" he said as he punched the ground and created a crater. Aaron jumped at at his master but was knocked away. Aaron wiped the blood from his mouth and stood to face Ryoku again. Ryoku shook his head " Come now Aaron I haven't all day to wait for you to get serious" he said. Aaron raised his hand and a small orb appeared in it " Don't worry you won't have to" he said. Aaron brought the orb to his chest then absorbed it. Ryoku kept his stance " I see you remember what I taught about gathering nature's energy Aaron. Life energy is very hard to use" he said. Aaron nodded " I know its hard to use thats why I don't usually use it. Though to fight you I have no choice" he said as he started to flash red. Aaron punched the air and the force of it hit Ryoku and knocked him over. Ryoku jumped back up and countered Aaron's kick with his right arm. They both started rapidly punching each other each taking the force of the attacks head on. They both were sent flying but Ryoku caught himself and stopped the momentum. Aaron got knocked through two trees before he finally stopped and he walked back towards Ryoku. " You have grown much stronger Aaron. It pleases me" Ryoku said calmly. Aaron clutched his arm and started breathing heavily " It doesn't matter though. I only used the life energy to power up my movement and attacks but I didn't use a single technique from those arts. That really shows my limits" he said. Ryoku shook his head " No you have other abilities as well Aaron its unfair to judge you by power alone since you are even in most areas" Ryoku stated.

Aaron shook his head " Well you got me this time master" he said walking over and handing Ryoku a scroll. Ryoku looked at Aaron questioningly " You went to that castle to get this? This is a sacred scroll Aaron why did you bring it here?" he asked. Aaron looked down " It was our only hope to stop Salvation and Kain master. At this point we need all the help we can get or everything will be for nothing" he explained. Ryoku closed his eyes " Then we will let the next few events play out and if were in a bad situation then we use the scroll. Now lets hope the current generation can save themselves" he said. Aaron remained silent not knowing what to say. Ryoku pointed out across China" There are still 2 more like him out there Aaron. If they cross paths then our current problems will seem like nothing" he said
