The Comings and Goings

The members of the British library had called a meeting among themselves and were now all seated in the main conference room. Everyone was there but Rumor and while a message had been sent to Jouten and the paper sisters they had yet to arrive. In Rumor's place both Ryan and Remus were conducting the meeting though with what they were about to stay they doubted they would be able to control the group. "It has been decided that we will not interfere with the situation in America we are withdrawing all of our assistance to Jouten and his band of fighters and we are staying out of this conflict fully." Remus said sending the room into a shocked silence. "Since Jouten isn't here that means he probably won't be informed of this until the minute he attacks and finds himself fighting alone. Also we have finally reached a agreeable decision about what to do with Jouten in general. Like the conflict in America we are to no longer help him in anyway besides allowing him to stay here. He has become to powerful and uncontrollable and that is unacceptable. Besides providing him with lodging you are all asked to no longer have any contact with him." after this most of the members showed no change though Ryan, Yomiko and Tsukiyo all seemed a little sad at the news.

Jouten, Michelle, Maggie, and Anita all walked into the conference room not knowing what to expect. Jouten stepped forward looking around at everyone in the meeting " Hey you guys called? I'm guessing you have come up with a plan of attack against Hoa?" Jouten asked smiling.

"No Jouten we do not need a plan of attack against Hoa because we are not going to be helping you while you fight him." Remus said taking his seat once more. No one else spoke up and no one besides Remus and Ryan even looked towards Jouten.

Jouten stared blankly from Remus to everyone in the room full of shock " Why!? I thought we were in this together! Theres no way I can do this alone. I'm just one kid" Jouten pleaded

"I suppose that might be true but you have gained more power then we thought you originally capable of we are no longer under the impression that you require our assistance" Ryan said frowning. "Added to the fact that we believe that Hoa is simply being used by another group we cannot and will not help you"

Remus looked at Jouten feeling bad for the guy but knowing that this had to be done. "We cannot insight a war and since you will no longer give up the bracelet to reduce your power to normal levels we cannot be associated with you since this will cause our enemy to fear the power we would have. Please understand this"

".....So you will let the world fall into chaos? Your just as bad as Hoa!" Jouten yelled angrily. Michelle walked up next to Jouten " I agree with Jouten its not right to leave this battle only to him" Michelle said respectfully to everyone in the room.

"Do you wish us to force Rumor into fighting then also since that is what you will be forcing him into doing. While Jouten might be powerful if he is sided with us then we are to be targeted by the only other person in the world as powerful as Rumor. While there is a fragile truce at the moment an increase in our power will surely insight an attack from them and that it something we wish to avoid so unless you wish to deal with the consequences our stand is final!" Remus said standing up quickly knocking his chair over as he leaned forward on the table placing both his hands on it to prop himself up.

Jouten didn't speak for a few moments as he just stared blankly at Remus. Anita ran with Maggie up to Jouten and Michelle " What the heck is wrong with you!? This is not about your problems its about whats going to happen if Hoa takes over the world! It should be your problem if innocent people are hurt" Anita yelled. "Anita...." Jouten said looking at her sadly.

"More people will be hurt if we help you then if we don't compared to the people that would come after us Hoa is nothing more then a elementary school bully." Remus told them leaning back a little but not making any move to retrieve his chair.

Jouten stared angrily at Remus " Just to let you know this won't stop me from taking on Hoa. I understand there might be a bigger force at work here but your the one acting like a coward Remus. To me your all acting in your own interests like always so I don't care anymore" Jouten shouted turning and running out of the room. " We should follow him" Michelle suggested with Maggie and Anita nodding. The three of them ran out of the room after Jouten.

The four of them didn't make it much further then the end of the hallway before they were stopped. Rumor stood there his hands across his stomach as his glazed over eyes lazily took them in. His hair stuck out at odd angles and his clothes looked as if he had slept in them the night before. "Where are you guys going in such a hurry?" he asked his voice hoarse and devoid of emotion.

Jouten didn't have time to talk but he paused for a moment " Ask your friends Rumor. I'm going to stop Hoa" Jouten said angrily.

[Eden]

Without even thinking about it a thick braid of paper wrapped around Jouten's wrist the end of it ending in Rumor's hand. "I didn't ask them I asked you Jouten so please tell me" he said turning to face his old classmate. Calling the two friends would be to much of a stretch for Rumor now a days.

Jouten sighed " Well Michelle, Anita, Maggie, and me recieved a message telling us to go to the conference room. When we got there Remus told me that he and the library wanted nothing to do with me or battling Hoa. So please let me go Rumor so I can face Hoa" Jouten said in annoyance

"I told them to wait till I was better to tell you and they probably didn't yell you the full story since only me and Yomiko know it." Rumor said the paper returning to srap around his wrist taking on the form of a bracelet. "The British Library has been attacked a lot over the long history of its life and even often destroyed but it survives to protect the world from something it has been in a stale mate with for years. This organization is really big and while we are always at war with it we have stopped fighting all out since we lose to many lives this way." Rumor said looking down at his feet not even caring if Jouten stayed to here his reasoning since the message was the same. "I received a note from The Demon Lord Vallimar earlier this week that told me if we interfere with Hoa and his attack on America that we would be forced into battling with them once more. I wish to help you I do but I cannot sacrifice all of those that follow me to fight off Vallimar and his followers"
