Jouten smiled at the fact that they didn't realize the mistake they made. " My blood you know...hehe is a pathway to another ability I have" Jouten said suddenly stabbing one of the Scathes through the chest with Sourge " Unlike before I won't avoid trying to kill you" Jouten said pulling his hand out one the Scathe's chests.

The scathe stumbled back before flipping its head forward smiling cruelly. "Then we have something in common" it said dipping its blades into the wound in its chest. The XI on all of their cheeks began to glow brightly as they stopped moving having surrounded Jouten. "Check Mate" they all stated in unison. "Kurimuzon ketsueki karite" They said the floor in between them that Jouten was standing on turned blood red before spiking up the blast shooting through the roof and into the sky.

Jouten managed to avoid the attack by using his teleport right in front of the original Scathe " Try coming back from this!" he shouted blasting him dead on with a full powered Sourge attack with electricity blasting away everything in the room.

When the smoke cleared the room was destroyed but three Scathe's were still standing. "I guess you haven't been just sitting around while I was dead" they said two phasing out as one stood there. "We will meet again Jouten" he said before touching the XI on his cheek and disappearing with a loud crack. Michelle slowly got up rubbing her head.

Jouten fell over onto his stomach groaning " Uhh damn I lost so much blood trying to figure out his ability. Michelle are you alright!?" Jouten shouted trying to pull himself

"Better then you it looks" she said pulling a book releasing Anita who came barreling out and tackling Michelle crying hysterically. "What was with that man though? Do you know him?"

Jouten sat up " Don't you remember? That was Scathe one of our old enemies" Jouten said his vision getting fuzzy.

"Scathe? I thought that he was dead" Michelle said while Maggie got to work bandaging Jouten up using the paper that remained in the room from the fighting.

" Hes back and looks like he might be a member of the group that you went up against. This isn't good now that i'm a target for them since my earlier battles with Scathe" Jouten said. Carmack ran into the room breathing hard " I got the distress signal and came as fast I could hmm" Carmack said running up to Jouten. " I never thought you would be the first one to show up Carmack....wheres Zack and Jean?" he asked. Carmack shook his head " I lost contact with Zack hours ago and his watch has been destroyed" he said sadly. Jouten sighed " I don't know where Rumor is either" he said

"Oh Rumor is gone" Michelle supplied. "He showed up a few hours ago to give us this watch and then left and come to think of it he had a number under his eye like Scathe did"

" No! That means hes one of them now" Jouten said. Carmack sat down next to Jouten " Zack had finally figured out what was on that file we stole. Now he might be dead" he said fiddling with the watch. " No hes not dead. I would be able to tell" Jouten said holding his side in pain.

"Well Rumor was always one of them but ... I don't know he left a file I think Maggie read it." Michelle said turning to the large girl who looked up at the mention of her name. "Umm yeah he left us something about the Immortal Ten in which he was the third at one point but I don't think that helps since Scathe had the number Eleven on his cheek"

Jouten fell over on his back sighing " Theres so many things to worry about at once. Ahh! I don't know if I can handle the stress" Jouten shouted. Carmack read Jouten's mind " You know your acting like a little kid whining about your problems" he said.

Jouten stared blankly at the ceiling " I can't give up. Not after coming this far. I just want to live a normal life" he said. Carmack sighed " I never liked Zack before but I am worried about him after being his comrade and getting to know him. Hes someone who ought to live" Carmack said feeling his own powerlessness
