the elder brother

grant walked threw the city of hong kong in a deppressed mannor when he got to the park he heard a familiar voice "match piont and game". jace stood inside the tennis court his racet in hand as he walked to the center and shook his oponents hand. grant sighed hopping the younger brother wouldn't recognize him jace was the last person grant wanted to see. jace walked up to grant and laughed "i didn't realize the dead walked the streets at day". grant sighed "what do you want brat". jace shook his head "what cant i talk to my own brother".

grant growled in low voice "not if i had any thing to do about it". jace sighed and sat down on the bench next to his brother "ok im no mind reader but somethings bothering you". grant shook his head "why would i tell you". jace thought for a second "because im your last living relative". grant nodded "fine fine ill talk. its this hole family thing its.... not for me i am a killer in ever meaning of the word. why should i have a family of all things". jace bursts into laughter "ha ha is that it. you know grant you had a life before you were a part of the British library. i don't know much about it but at some point we were 'normal' we weren't always murderers i say go for it maybe this is your chance for redemption". grant sighed "thats easy for you to say you went conscious for your crimes i committed mine with no hesitation no mercy. and a sound mind". jace rolls his eyes"man its no wonder you don't sleep at night, listen a sound mind or insanity murder is murder. theres but one difference and its not in the crimes the difference is between you and me is regret". grant looks at jace "regret?". jace sighs "yeah the difference between us is that i regret what Ive done every day of my life. you on the other hand believe its your duty to play the grim reaper think about it" jace gets up and begins to walk away. "start over if you miss your family so much this is your chance to get a new one brother".

grant sighed he sat there for a while as he thought over what jace had said. he hated it but jace was right he had no regret for any of the crimes he had committed and he was to much of a solder to do any thing else with his life. grants vision began to fade in and out "what the has it been three days already". he yawned and got up only to have his path blocked by an unfamiliar face. "I'm sorry grant Galvin you will need to come with us" three guys stood in grants way the first showed a hidden gun "its somewhat important". grant yawned the lack of sleep incurring upon him "um listen guys thats real nice but i need to get home and id only kill you so could you back down". the first guy laughed "we are well informed grant we know your cycle is ending and that in ten to fifteen minutes you will be asleep so go ahead try". grant took a swing as hard as he could with the prosthetic arm only to have it caught "like i said i think you need to come with us". there was a sudden crack and grant went out cold.

when grant awoke he was back in the park a full day had passed. getting up he cheacked to see if any thing had been stollen but found every thing to be there. he cheacked the only diffrence from before he was knoked out and affter was a small wound on his arm "what the".

grant recollected his thoughts but found it hard to focuse as he was rather light headed. a sensation he knew all to well as having lost blood he staggered but found that he had to lean on a nearby tree. "ok grant lets do a walkthrew here" he said sitting down. "i came here got ambushed on my three day limit and now ive lost some blood". he shook his head as he tried to focus but had no real idea of what had just happened.

finnaly his head stopped spinning and he got up "eather way i may as well head home thell be worried by now".he said quickly walking off.
