It had been a little more than a day since the fight against Hoa and Jace's death. Jouten and the others decided to rent a hotel until they could figure out their next move. Jouten was walking down the street to see if he could find out any information about what Hoa might be doing now. " I let Jace die....I still coulden't do anything" Jouten said holding back his angry at himself. Suddenly the air became dense and he found he was having trouble breathing. A man jumped off a nearby building landing in front of Jouten " Quan!?" Jouten asked startled. " Jouten its time for me to let you in on a few secrets" Quan said taking a sheet of paper out of his jacket. " Your going to fight me?" Jouten asked. " Get ready boy" Quan said sharpening the paper and running at Jouten.

Jouten dodged Quan's attack and grabbed his arm and flipped him over. Quan then kicked out Jouten's legs making him fall over. Quan then formed a paper ax and swung it down on Jouten. Jouten managed to flip over and avoid the ax. Jouten jumped up and formed a paper sword and ran at Quan. Quan turned his paper ax into a sword too and met Jouten's attack with the same amount of force. " Why do you want to fight me!" Jouten shouted still locked in the stand off. Quan looked at Jouten solemly " I'm trying to show you how cruel this world can be, especially with someone with your sense of justice" Quan said said knocking Jouten's paper sword out of his hand. " Yeah I think I understand it but there are things you are not telling me" Jouten said kicking Quan's paper sword out of his hands. Jouten ran up and punched Quan in the face but in nearly no time at all Quan grabbed Jouten's arm and kicked him in the stomach. Jouten then dropped back and kicked Quan in the face again knocking him back down. Quan jumped right back up and he and Jouten ran at each other. Jouten and Quan locked hands " You...your just as good as me in martial arts..." Jouten said shocked. Quan smiled " No i'm better!" He said overpowering Jouten and throwing in the air as if it were nothing. " Damn it!" Jouten shouted forming his hawk familar from the paper he was carrying to stop him from falling.

" Get down here Jouten!" Quan shouted up to him. " Yeah so I can give you more chances to kill me yeah right!" Jouten shouted. Jouten decided that he didn't have time risking his life in a fight with Quan so he sent his hawk familar flying back to the hotel. " Not so fast!" Quan shouted forming a giant paper eagle. Quan's eagle familar caught up to Jouten's familar in no time at all. " What the hell do you want!" Jouten shouted. " I just want to teach you the ways of the world" Quan said having his familar ram into Jouten's. " Stop it! If you keep that up were both going to go down!" Jouten shouted. " Thats what I want....." Quan said as his eagle split into regular paper again. Quan jumped onto Jouten's familar and the paper that was once his familar turned into paper chains which wrapped around Jouten's hawk familar. " Oh no were going to crash!" Jouten shouted as the familar crashed into the ground full force.

Jouten staggered trying to stand up " Ow that jackass...." Jouten said looking around at where they landed. They were right at the edge of a lake Jouten noticed. " Well that was one interesting ride" Quan said walking up to Jouten. " I still don't see what your trying to achieve" Jouten said annoyed. " Well just to inform you North America has been taken from Hoa by Rumor but I suspect Hoa doen't even care. He seems to run on whims" Quan stated. Jouten looked out at the lake " I'm still getting a feeling Hoa is not the one calling the shots though but he is the one we have to stop at the moment" Jouten said truthfully. Quan slowly walked over to Jouten and stood right beside him " Are you still habing those nightmares of yours?" Quan asked. Jouten looked at Quan shocked " How did you know?" he asked. Quan smiled " Well its about time I let you know some of the secrets that I know" he said with his smile fading.

" Like what?" Jouten said with a questioning look on his face. " Like the fact you don't even know my true name........My true name is Aaron" he said without looking away from Jouten. " Aaron huh? I always knew Quan was just a codename but why were you the only one of Salvation to have one?" Jouten asked. Aaron looked up at the sky a few second before speaking " To try and avoid past mistakes of mine that always come to haunt me. The truth is I know some things about your past but I'm unable to tell you at the moment" he said pulling out more paper and forming his eagle familar he jumped on it. " Wait if you know something about my past please tell me!" Jouten shouted up at him. " I have told you enough for today....I have some important matters to attend but I will see you again" he shouted as he took off into the sky. Jouten fell to his knees " WHY does everyone but me know so much about who I am!" he shouted punching the ground.
