Jouten chased Zack all the way to the middle of the town they were staying in" Damn it Zack!!! Stop running!" Jouten shouted tackling him to the ground. " Get off Jouten I have to find the killer" Zack said standing back up brushing himself off. " Not by yourself stupid!" Jouten said breathing hard. "...fine you can help" Zack said sighing looking around the street. " Why is the killer after you?" Jouten asked. " I'm not sure" Zack said with anger in his voice.

Zack took out his cellphone when it began to ring " Yeah i'm outside.....Do you know where he was spotted last? Well thats useful....." he said hanging up. " Anything at all?" Jouten asked. " No...All they know is that the assasin was last seen heading for Moscow....where we still are" Zack said sighing. " It could just be a trick to mess with you" Jouten said leaning against a street light. " I honestly don't no. This isn't good that the president has been killed just a day after we liberated America. The vice president is probably going to have alot of problems on his hands now" Zack said. Jouten smiled and walked over to Zack " Hey I will be there to help you every step of the way. Were friends right?" Jouten said holding out his hand. " Yeah we sure are" Zack said shaking his hand.

jace walked up glaring at the two people "you two are just down right inconsiderit of others. listen joten i know your on a power trip right now but that is no excuse for leaving everyone like that. and you zack your not much better i know your boss just got killed and all but running out to go and hunt some one only gets you killed. i know that better then any one. now listen up you two cause im only gonna say it once. I AM SICK OF BEING ON THE SIDELINES. the war against hoa was supposed to be a group effort but you two went off on your own, and when it became everyone elses turn to fight we lost becouse of one reason. a gap in power between you and everyone else well im sick of it. from now on im in your group wether you like it or not and you are not leaveing me out of another battle".
as jace finnished his breathing was heavy. he had been trying to think of a way to slap some sense into them ever since he walked out the door of the hotel.

" Hes right i'm definately not going anywhere" Jouten said. Zack sighed looking at Jace and Jouten " Then I guess were a team. The only thing is that its seems i'm the only target for the killer" Zack standing up pulling out his special Katana.

jace sighed "thats true only for the moment. its only logical to say that if we stay together and work as a team the killer will eventually add me and joutens name to the list". he pulled out a spare deack of cards from his jacket and formed his whip with it "to think after all this time im back to useing this thing as my weapon we need to pick up my stuff from hong kong eventually".

Zack shook his head " No we can't stay here much longer anyway. I believe I know who the killer really is. If i'm right we have to get out of here and get back to Hong Kong" he said begining to run down the street. " We have to get back to the hotel!" Zack yelled. " Right lets go!" Jouten yelled begining to run.

jace began to run back to the hotel gladend to hear that they were going back to hong kong "yay i can visit my grave". he blinked for a second still moving "actually that brings up a vary good queston did you guys have a funeral or a wake or something or was i just not that important".

" We didn't have a body to bury, Jace!" Jouten yelled to him. Zack suddenly stopped running looking around. " It looks like he found me" Zack said turning to Jouten and Jace. Suddenly a helecopter appeared over their heads and someone jumped out landing in front of Zack. " I have finally found you......Zack!" The young man yelled. " I knew it.......Rex it is you" Zack said

Rex walked right up to Zack looking him in the eyes " So Rex was it you that killed the president Rex?" Zack asked coldly. Rex punched Zack square in the face " How can you still be loyal to that country.....after what they did!" Rex yelled in sheer anger. " Why did you come here" Zack asked carefully. Rex smiled a demented smile " I'm here to do what I should have done three years ago. Kill you Zack. I want it to be a battle to the death." he said opening his jacket to reveal sheets of paper. " So you still have your paper powers huh" Zack said. Rex finally noticed Jace and Jouten standing behind Zack " Who are you two?" Rex asked. " Jouten Kira, I'm Zack's friend" Jouten said.

jace sighed knowing how this would probably end based on his own experance with 'freinds from the past'. "it doesn't really matter who i am. all you need to know is i can't let you kill zack".

Rex took out one of his sheets and sliced it across Zack's face leaving a bloody streak. Zack didn't waver and all he did was turn back to face Rex " It's not the goverments fault what happened three years ago Rex" Zack said lifting his Katana up to Rex's shoulder. " Heh I know that. If you think I killed the president then you are wrong it wasn't me. My vendatta is with my brother" Rex said. Zack lowered his Katana sighing " If you didn't kill the president then who did?" Zack said. " ......My older brother Zane" Rex said dropping the sheet of paper. " Why do you want me dead Rex?" Zack asked wiping the blood from his face. " You didn't stop him Zack.....you had the chance but you coulden't do it" Rex said.
