Zack walked ran down the street looking up at the flames coming from some of the buildings. " Why is someone attacking Hong Kong now!? This is really bad" Zack said turning a corner passing by people running and screaming in fear. " Hey whats going on here?" Zack asked stopping a man in his tracks. " A man controlling paper is killing everyone that comes near" the man said. Zack started running again " What kind of paper master would kill so many people?" he said running towards the smoke.

Zack ran full speed to see a building fall down in smoke. " Long time no see old friend!" a voice rang out. Zack looked up and saw that it was Rex standing on the downed building " You! How could you do this Rex!? The Rex I knew would never kill anyone" Zack shouted. " This is revenge to the highest Zack. Your so naive its sad. I would do anything to gain enough power to achieve my revenge including becoming what I hate most" Rex said forming a paper staircase to where Zack was. Zack pulled out his katana " Damn it don't make it go down like this Rex. Just turn yourself in" he shouted. " I knew a non paper master like you would not understand. Thats why I must kill you now to gain even more power" Rex said forming a paper sword of his own.

Rex jumped down the rest of the stairs and quickly swung his sword at Zack. Zack easily blocked the blade and attempted to knock it out of Rex's hands " Really now Zack just die" Rex said the blade exploding into dozens of paper blades that flew at Zack. Zack threw up a barrier just before they hit him " Thats right they called you the defense master once. It is said you once blocked a bomb from hitting an entire city" Rex said with a chuckle. " What are you talking about you were there when that happened!" Zack shouted. " Yes and your point is? What happened while we were in Haze has been wiped from the records. Now what we did is legend only." Rex said reaching into his sleeve to pull out more paper. " That isn't true Rex! We have the memories still" Zack shouted. " Memories are fragile things Zack. They can easily be destroyed or distorted" Rex said forming a paper familar that looked like a snake. " Your serious about killing me Rex? Thats it huh just like that?" Zack asked taking a stance with his katana.

Rex started laughing " You want to know why I have come here to Hong Kong Zack? Its because Zane will be here soon" he said with a demented look on his face. " Does that mean Salvation is finally making a move?" Zack asked. " Yes they are sending several members here for a mission. Did you know they have 15 top members? Zane is one of them" Rex said moving out of the way of snake familar. " Rex this is not the right to deal with your brother" Zack yelled. " Only evil and defeat evil Zack" Rex said as the snake familar charged Zack. Zack jumped on the snake familar and ran down it stabbing his sword into as he ran. Zack jumped off the snake and slashed at Rex. Rex used the paper hidden in his clothes to block Zack's katana " I'm not so bad with defense myself Zack" he said dispersing his snake behind Zack.
Zane looked over the city of Hong Kong with a sense of the past " I don't usually see you show any emotion. Is there something here that you find interesting?" Kain said walking up to stand beside him. " No Kain not at all. I'm here to complete what we set out to do and that is the capture of the target" Zane said with no emotion in his voice. " Always the cold one huh? You are one of our most powerful members so don't screw this up" Kain said.

Zack blocked the paper that flew at his back with his barrier " That won't work on me" Zack shouted. Rex nodded " A battle between us is not pointless. If I kill you I will gain even more power" he said grinning. " What the hell does that mean?" Zack asked. " You don't need to know Zack" Rex said having all the paper around them swirl around in a vortex " Your insane!" Zack shouted. " I'm just wondering how long you can hold your so called ultimate defense with its constantly being bombarded with something" Rex said sending all the paper in the vortex at Zack. Zack through up a larger barrier to cover himself from the vortex of paper " I guess there is no saving you. Your path has been chosen" Zack said holding his stance.

Rex started laughing " Come on Zack. I once considered you my rival." he shouted. " Damn it I don't have time for this!" Zack said feeling his power drain from blocking the vortex of paper. Zack raised his katana in the air and it was surrounded by the golden glow " I can still do this" Zack shouted swinging his sword and a golden wave of energy blasted through his barrier at Rex who was completely unguarded. Rex took off his coat which turned into paper and he blocked the blast with the paper. " Not this time" Zack said with a small smile. " What?" Rex said as the energy he was blocking exploded on contact with his paper barrier. The vortex then suddenly stopped and Zack was left catching his breath. Rex stepped forward from the smoke holding his bleeding chest " Bastard look what you have done to me" Rex said. " Heh I am alot stronger then I was the last time. Looks like its a tie" Zack said coughing. Rex looked at him angrily " No I need to kill you...before he gets here" Rex said.
