Zack managed to use his barrier in time before Kaze's Negashi lvl 2 hit him knocking it to the side. Kaze smiled as Zack realized his mistake " Game over" Kaze said sadistically. The blade stretched and bended around, stabbing through Zack from behind. Zack yelled in pain and Kaze drew Negashi lvl 2 in, holding Zack out in front of him " Lets see now. How should I finish you?" he asked pushing against his blade hilt. Zack coughed up some blood and smiled and replied " If you think its over because you stabbed me with your toy sword, then your reasoning skills have gone down the drain". Kaze took his blade and threw Zack into a nearby wall " Lets see you say that after I use my ultimate sword art!" he shouted. Kaze raised his Negashi lvl 2 in the air and then slashed open his chest. Zack pulled himself up to see Kaze bleeding violently " What the hell are you doing killing yourself?" he asked. Kaze suddenly covered his entire blade with his blood " Don't worry I won't die."

" In fact my blood reveals Negashi's true power. Now watch" Kaze said in excitement. The blade turned completely blood red and split in two seperate blades. Kaze lifted the two Negashi's above his head and then let them go. The two Negashi's hung in midair and then began to spin violently until they stopped in a cross formation in between Kaze and Zack. ( Looks like a pretty strong attack) Zack thought as he tried to keep his chest from losing to much blood.
Rex decided it was time to jump in and save Zack so he took off into a sprint. Darin appeared at the side of Rex " I can't allow you to interfer with their battle" she said. Rex sighed " Somehow I knew you would say that" he said pulling out some paper. Rex quickly formed a paper crossbow and aimed at Darin's head and said " Sorry little girl but I need to get through". Darin shook her head " I can't allow you even if I have to kill you. Counter spell- Tessiah!" she shouted. Rex took a great leap up onto a building holding his left arm.

Rex looked at Darin angrily and said " What the hell did you to my arm? I can't move it". Darin smiled " Thats what my spells Tessiah and Retriction of fate does. They blind the eyes then restrict the limbs of my opponents, though I have to say i'm impressed. You managed to move fast enough to only get your left arm caught" she said. Rex took out more paper and formed a light bow ( This kid is really dangerous. Salvation huh? It makes sense why my brother joined. I have to find a way to beat her without killing her.) he thought as he fired off a bunch of paper arrows. Darin held up her hands again and shouted " Its useless to continue. Counter Spell-Matter Deletion!". All the arrows instantly faded away but Rex took that moment to move while forming a paper mallet " I'll just knock you out!" he shouted running straight at her. Darin sighed " You leave me no choice. Spell of Darkness- Hell's ice" she said as a giant ice wave rushed forward at Rex. The ice completely covered everything on the building.

Rumor frowned ... there was just so many airships and so little time. He wanted to help the others but with the number in the air he was unsure of how to manage that. Looking over at his small group of followers he had following him loyally. They wouldn't be able to fight these people and he knew it but really what help could he be since he had no idea what the members of salvation were capable of. Knowing that the best way he could help was to stop the airships he began making his attacks more brutal using a nifty little trick he had been keeping a secret to take down alot of ships all at once. Focusing enough he could cause the clones to explode sending arrows of paper in all directions before letting them unravel into sheets of paper and having them cut back through as they joined back up to make the clone once more. While this took a bit to much concentration with no one attacking him it was perfect time to use it.

Darin looked over the ice covered building sadly " Farewell i'm sorry it came to this" she said turning to leave. Darin then heard the breaking of ice and turned around quickly to see a large 7 foot creature stepping out the ice sheet. Darin looked at it closer and it appeared to be giant metal armor " How did you survive? What are you?" she asked. The metal armor melted away revealing Rex. Rex slapped the side of his head " To think I had to bring out that ability so soon, and for a little girl no less. I was planning to save it for my battle with Zane. Oh well this is more fun" he said grinning. Darin came to a realisation who Rex was " Your Zane's brother. I thought he was the only one capable of using metal manipulation" she said. Rex shook his head and replied " You have it all wrong. My powers are not metal manipulation. They are nano technology"

Darin looked at Rex confused " Nano technology? What is that?" she asked. Rex held out his arm and it became a gun " Nano technology is what my body was injected with back when I was with Haze. It is a bunch of little robotic cells that allow me to change my DNA all together. Basically I can turn my body into anything I want. I avoid using it to much since it tends to leave my body in shambles afterwards" he explained turning his arm back to its original form. Darin stared at Rex angrily " I see. Then your a bigger threat to Salvation then I first thought. I will end this! Spell of Darkness- Hell's ice!" she shouted unleashing another ice wave. Rex turned his whole body into tempered steel and smashed his way through the ice. He then raised his right hand and turned into a giant claw that grabbed Darin and smashed her into the top of the building. Rex turned his body back to normal and walked to Darin.

Rex looked down at Darin who was crying " Just kill me. I was no help to Kaze or Kain. I don't deserve to live" she said. Rex picked up Darin off the ground " Stupid kid i'm not going to kill you. Same thing with Zack. He will beat your friend without killing him" he said with a smile. " How do you know that?" Darin asked Rex looking at him directly in the eyes. Rex grinned " Zack is even stronger then me" he told her.
The two crossed Negashi blades releashed an X-shaped energy blast right at Zack. The resulting explosion shook that half of Tokyo and Kaze laughed " Well Zack looks like you failed to stop me. How boring" he said grabbing a hold of both Negashi blades. Kaze suddenly felt a disturbing presense and watched as Zack walked out the rubble . Zack was holding a sword with a golden blade and blue hilt in right hand, and a silver looking shield with his left " Well Kaze I guess its about time I got serious" he stated firmly.

Kaze glared at Zack and shouted " Screw you! There is no way in hell I will lose to someone who isn't part of Salvation!!! Now die!". Kaze rushed at Zack and once again let go of his two Negashi's blades which spun around in the air forming an X-shaped energy blast directly hitting Zack. Kaze started laughing but stopped as he saw Zack move forward unharmed with his silver shield " How are you surving that attack? Its supposed to be able to cut through anything!" Kaze shouted. Zack dropped the shield and it vanished in a flash of light " The sword of light and silver shield are the true manifestations of my power. The silver shield is all the defense of my barriers combined into one ultimate protective force, while the sword of light is my katana's true form when exposed to my full powers being released at once. The ultimate attack and defense." he explained. Kaze angrily grabbed his two Negashi's out of the air and said " I see now why Zane held you in high regard. I honestly thought you were a weakling"

Zack moved forward holding his golden katana with two hands " Now I will show you why working for Salvation is not the answer to true peace. This will be my final attack" he said. Kaze looked at Zack dumbfounded " I know your not weak but you think I can be beat just because your holding your sword with two hands instead of one? Don't underestimate me I will meet your attack head on!" he shouted charging forward with his two Negashi blades. Zack slash forward and Kaze blocked with his blades crossed " You see Zack? Everytime we clash there is no winner. Its useless to attack your opponent when you both have blades!" he said grinning. Zack looked calmly at Kaze and said " Your to young to understand how a blade works" suddenly Kaze's Negashi blades began to crack " A blade is only as strong as the wielder's resolve" Zack's katana broke through Kaze's blades " The warrior with the stronger resolve has a sharper blade" Zack slashed Kaze across the chest " Thats a life lesson for you".

Kaze fell down face first unable to move " You see being a part of Salvation doesn't make you strong its what your fighting for that does. Don't worry though that isn't a fatal wound" Zack said as the light around his katana went out. Kaze looked up at him " I see you don't plan to kill me" he stated. Zack let a sigh " Theres no reason to kill someone who is already beat" he said. Rex jumped from the nearby building holding Darin " Told you he wouldn't kill him" Rex said to Darin letting her go. Darin ran over to Kaze " Kaze are you ok!?" she asked. Kaze smiled " Perhaps we have been fighting for the wrong reasons Darin. I...I don't feel like fighting anymore today" he told her. Darin held back her tears of happiness and said " I have been waiting a long time for you to say that Kaze. Lets go somewhere we can rest".

Darin pulled Kaze to his feet and held his arm over her shoulder helping him walk. Zack walked up to her and pulled out a sheet of paper " This is all of our numbers if you decide you want to help in some way" he explained. Darin smiled taking the paper " Thank you for not killing us. I promise we will not remain with Salvation" she said walking off with Kaze. Rex looked at Zack " Do you think we can trust their word?" he asked. Zack smiled and said " Yeah. I think those kids felt confused about what to do but once we beat them its like they became free". Rex turned to look at the sky filled with even more warships then before " To bad not all of our battles won't be that simple" he said. Zack nodded " Yeah theres still more hardship to come" he said.
