Second Stage begins

About 4 hours after Salvation begin their attack on the world

Tokyo 2:32 PM

Jouten rushed forward past screaming citizens as huge explosions went off in the middle of the city. ( Whats going on? How is Salvation able to control so many warships at once? Also why is it that their main forces seem to be here? It makes no sense. I guess I have no choice but to confront them myself) he thought. Jouten came to a stop as Carmack and Jean came running by on Jean's lion familiar. Carmack grabbed Jouten by the collar of his jacket and pulled him up as they flew by " Hey what are you doing? Why are you two running!?" Jouten shouted. Carmack sighed and said " We greatly underestimated our opponent from Salvation. The only reason we are still alive is because were running". Jean nodded " Yeah and the only way we can keep running is if you keep quite Carmack" she said in an annoyed tone. Suddenly several bullets flew by their heads " Looks like he found us" Jouten pointed out.

Kain watched as the small warship landed in front of him, Gengi, and Zane. Four men walked out of the ship each carrying a small stone tablet. Zane gave Kain a questioning look " Those slabs of stone will awaken those beasts?" he asked. Gengi laughed " Of course they will work. Zane why do you think we attacked Tokyo with this many warships? To get this smaller ship here unnoticed thats why" he said. Kain picked up one of the tablets and began to recite a weird chant. Gengi smirked turning to Zane " Now watch Zane. As the whole world will suffer from this" he said.

Jouten watched as the man on the motor bike behind them continued to fire off shots with his gun at Jean, Carmack, and himself. " At this rate hes really going to kill us. Jean do you have a plan" Jouten asked with a bored look on his face. Jean grinned and replied " Don't worry my lion familar can handle an assult from this goon. Only problem is that Carmack wasted all of his ammo fighting this guy earlier so we are unable to hit him". Carmack glared at Jean " If I had time to think up a plan I could of beaten him." he said. Jouten stood up and Carmack grabbed his arm " What are you doing!? Your an open target like that!" Carmack shouted at him. A current of electricity enveloped Jouten and both Jean and Carmack gasped surprised. Jouten raised his right arm in the air and grabbed it with his left arm " Its alright. This guy is about to feel some serious pain" he said angrily.

Kain stood back as the tablets started glowing " This is it. Let us meet the legendary creatures" he said. The tablets then exploded and ray of light enveloped the sky over Tokyo. Four bird like creatures appeared in the sky over head " What are those things?" Zane asked. Kain turned to face Zane and Gengi and replied " Those creatures up there are refered to by humans as the Phoenix. The legendary bird that can revive itself through its own flame" he explained. Genji sighed and said " Why the hell are we summoning four Phoenix? We don't need to". Kain laughed " These creatures belong to Nitas and were his loyal servants. To bring about change he needs to set them loose again on the world" he said. The four Phoenix began to shoot out fire over the city aiding the warships.
