History: Morie is one of the few immortals that is a member of the the British Library but not by choice. During the attack on the city of Alexandria when the library was burnt down to the ground she was found to know to much about the attack and was sacrificed to the Egyptian god of Anubis. The only problem being that the ritual used was to sacrifice a non-virgin while Morie still had her virginity. As such her soul was sent back into her body and while she never died or aged and gained super human power she became what was known as a emotional vampire being that she feed off of people emotions and was easily able to influence those emotions along with reading minds.. She didn't enjoy having this power though and liked to stay as far away from people as possible so she didn't have to know what those around her were feeling or thinking. One day on her way back to her house from a nearby town in order to buy food she stumbled upon a body that she wasn't able to feel the emotion or minds of. so she presumed him dead but upon closer inspection she learned that he was still alive. Curious about why she couldn't hear the boys thoughts she brought him home and nursed him to health. In thanks to her he gave her a powerful spear. Though they never found the reason for why she couldn't read his mind he did help her to get away from civilization when he got her appointed to the III Branch of the British Library where she surrounded herself with other people having powerful mental abilities on the South Pole.
