Jouten walked into the British Library and looked around. He had come to see if Rumor or anyone else was in but it seemed like no one was around. Jouten sat against the wall and sighed. " I guess I will wait to see if anyone shows up"

Karen walked down to the lobby of her branch looking at the boy that sat there worriedly. "Are you okay sir?" she asked kindly squatting down in front of him.

Jouten sighed " I was just looking for Rumor. Not for a particular reason though I just want to know what the British Library is up to" he stated.

"Ohh right now the Paper is visiting the other branches of the library in hopes of uniting them together again" she said smiling

Jouten smiled " Well thats good i'm sure if anyone can unite the different branches its Rumor. I sure can't handle it alone" he replied

"Well all of us are indebted to him so he would have a much easier time of it then you would in any case I'm sure he will get the others to agree with him and be back in no time" She said smiling at him as she stood fixing her skirt.

" Ok I guess that sounds good. I might be busy when he gets back though. It seems like i'm being tracked by some strange people" Jouten said as he began to walk back towards the main door leading outside.

Jouten stopped " I just got a feeling I should visit here. Thats all really even I don't know why" he said

"Well you should really trust your feelings and instincts" she said looking up at the ceiling for a minute before narrowing her eyes in confusion and turning back to Jouten. "Did anyone else come with you?" she asked tilting her head.

Jouten shook his head " I came here alone" he said. Suddenly dozens of figures broke through the roof and were lowered down by cables. They were all carrying semi automatic Rifles and appeared to soldiers of some sort wearing black helmets that covered their faces " Put your hands in the air! Both of you" a man shouted through his helmet.

"Yeah I figured that these guys weren't with you" she said smiling as she raised her arms in the air opening them palm up and closing her eyes for a minute. "Its a pity really I didn't want to have to clean today" she said as a light emanated from her hands and when she closed them into fists a rod extended between them before continuing to either side. Once that was done one end grew a large curved area. "Get down" she commanded swinging the sythe around quickly causing it to lose the glow it had as it sliced through the people it could.

Jouten quickly ducked down avoiding the sythe and looked angrily at Karen " Don't kill them we don't even know why they are here!" he shouted

"They broke my ceiling" she said flatly glaring at Jouten. "No one that ever has good intentions breaks through your ceiling"

The soldiers still did not fire and Jouten stood up to face them " Who are you and why are you here!?" he asked. " We are the Japanese police and were here to put you in our custody Jouten Kira" one of the soldiers said. Jouten sighed " This doesn't seem good"
