Traveling Bounty Hunters

A sunny day in the city of Tokyo...

Two men with black face masks and bullet proof vests walked into a bank with machine guns and opened fire " Everyone on the ground. Nobody has to get hurt if we get the money" one of the men said. " How can we believe that? Really how low do you have to get to steal from working class citizens" a young brown haired boy asked. " We said get on the ground kid. This is our 4th bank robbery in a week and i'm not going to stop because of some punk. Now shut up or die" the first man said. The boy sighed and layed flat on the ground " Well you will get whats comming to you" he said smiling. The second armed man walked into the back to try to get into the safe while the first man stayed behind. Suddenly a loud smashing noise could be heard from the window in the front and the first man turned to see a small silver canister rolling on the floor " What the hell?" he said as suddenly it released smoke screen all across the room. Something else jumped through the window and the man held out his gun and began to fire " Who the hell are you!?" he shouted. Suddenly his gun split in half and he backed up frightened " I told you, Your getting what you deserve and that a one way ticket to prison" th brown haired boy said walking up behind him. The man laughed " So your going to take me down? A runt like you?" he asked. The boy smiled " No my partner is..." he said. The man turned to see a sheet of paper land in his face " Uh what the hell is with this paper!?" he shouted trying to get it off his face " Sucks don't it? Being beat by a sheet of paper" a young girl with red hair and a hat said as he managed to tare the paper off his face " A little girl? What the hell are you?" he said. " A Paper Master" the girl replied.

The girl jumped up and did a spin kick in the guys face with her right leg knocking him out. The other robber heard noise so he went back out into the lobby and begin to open fire. The girl dove behind a table to avoid being shot and then jumped off the table and threw a ton of paper destorying the man's gun and knocking him over. The girl held a sheet of paper to the man's neck " Don't try anything. Like I told the last guy who shot at me. I'm a paper master" she said. She turned to look at the boy " See Hiro I told you I could handle it but you were being a baby" she said. Suddenly the man pulled our another gun and held it to the girl's face " Stupid kid you shouldn't have turned your back on me" he said. Suddenly a dagger stabbed him in his right hand making him drop the gun " See Ran I told you. You were over confident again and almost got shot" Hiro said spinning the another dagger. He walked over to the man and punched in the jaw with a left hook kocking him out" Thats for threatening Ran you bastard." he said. Ran turned to Hiro " Uh thanks for saving me again" she said. Hiro smiled " Were partners, We are here to cover each others weaknesses. So don't worry about it" he. Ran looked out the two unconsious robbers and heard sirens outside " So we should leave them here for the police?" she asked. Hiro nodded as he made paper tie around the men making it so they wouldn't be able to move " Let's go collect out bounty" he said as they walked past the freightened staff and customers. They walked outside where a squad of police cars were pulling in front of the bank " What's going on? Is he releasing hostages?" one of the officers asked the two kids. Ran shook her head " No we took them down. We saw the police posted a bounty on two Robber's heads so we waited at that bank and took them down. They are wrapped up inside" she said. The officer looked at them in shock " So you two kids took them down?" he asked amazed. Hiro sighed " Yes we took them down because were paper masters. Now please give us our bounty" he said. The officer had the other police go into the bank and comfirm the capture of the robbers. The police dragged the two men out and threw the in the squad cars " We asked the staff inside. They said they saw these two take the robbers down" one of the grunts said to the officer. The officer took out an a stack of cash and handed it to Ran " I still can't believe kids managed to take down those robbers. I guess I see strange things every once in awhile" he told them. Ran smiled and walked back over to Hiro " So how about we get something to eat." she said. Hiro grinned " Sure as long as we don't end up at a place that serves fish" he said as they walked past the squad cars and into the city.

Rumor stepped out from an alley way putting a sheet of paper back into his coat before noticing his two favorite students. "Hiro! Ran!" he yelled running over to them smiling. "How did it go?" he asked them once he was close enough not to need to yell anymore. "Would you like to go get some ramen while you tell me about it?" Rumor asked the two.

Ran grinned " I took them both down before either of them knew what hit them. Oh Hiro helped too" she said. Hiro sighed " Thanks for noticing Ran" he said sarcasticly. Ran turned to Hiro " So should we make Rumor treat us to Ramen?" she asked. Hiro grinned " Of course we should. afterall we just risked our lives" he said.

[Eden]

Rumor laughed pointing down the street. "Well if you want it that way Hiro I know a great place over there that sells really good shrimp Ramen" he said grinning at the younger boy.

Hiro sunk down on to the ground " Uh not fish....." he said in a depressed tone. Ran patted Rumor on the back " Come on teacher! Its not often we get to see you so stop being a jerk to Hiro and take us to get Ramen" she said.

[Eden]

Rumor sighed in defeat picking up Hiro by the collar and tossing him over his shoulder. "I guess I have no choice" he said walking down the street carrying the sulking boy like a sack of potatoes. "You two sure have grown up"

Hiro jumped off Rumor " I can walk by myself thank you" he said. Ran walked beside Rumor and smiled " So you really think we have grown huh? I guess its been 3 years since you last saw us." she said.

[Eden]

"Yeah it seems like we never run into each other anymore which is a real bummer since you guys were my last good set of students" he said walking in between the two teenagers.

Ran lowered her head " Though Hiro and me have found its hard for two kids to get work though its not has bad as when we were 11. I still like being a bounty hunter though, I like being free and traveling with Hiro" she said cheerfully. Hiro grinned and nodded silently

[Eden]

"Isn't that cute" Rumor said pinching both their cheeks in unison. "Even at such a young age" he sighed leading the way into the restaurant and taking a seat at the bar. "You two might be able to get more work if you take hits from Dokusensha though that would be a ot more dangerous for you then picking off bank robbers"

Ran sat to the left of Rumor and Hiro sat on the right. Hiro looked angrily at Rumor " First you picked me up like a baby, then you pinched our cheeks. Were not 5 Rumor" he said. Ran shook her head " I don't like Dokusensha. They are extremely creepy and working for them is not something I want to do" she said.

Rumor sighed looking at Hiro for a long time. "I know your not you two have grown up so fast and its really depressing" he said putting his head down on the bar. "Well if you don't like Dokusensha you can always go work for the British Library"

Ran looked at Rumor confused " Why would we want to work for a library? Isn't that boring?" she asked. Hiro thought for a moment " I think I heard of them before Ran. I think they are a group similar to Dokusensha and are not just a library" he stated.

[Eden]

"Thats right Hiro" Rumor said smiling. "The British Library is much like Dokusensha just much bigger and more spread out. Almost every major city you go to will have a branch of the Library that you can get work from. They don't usually have people they want you to capture or kill but instead look for books and other artifacts"
