Fateful meeting for the last time

[Eden]

Rumor stood in the middle of the forest not really sure what country he was even in anymore. He stood in a large clearing that was covered in the paper that used to make up his large familiar. He had wanted to see how far he could control the beast and eventually had just given up since his power didn't seem to falter any. So there he stood staring at the sky small puffs coming from his mouth as he breathed out in the cold of the night. Hearing a faint snapping behind him Rumor quickly turned staring into the direction of the noise the paper now swirling slowly around his knees. "Show yourself" he said loudly breaking the silence of the forest.

[Eden]

"Its been a while" a sing song voice called from the trees as a blond haired girl stepped out into the clearing smiling at Rumor. "Yeah not long enough for me" Rumor replied the paper moving faster as his eyes narrowed at the girl. "Is this really how you greet me boy?" she asked shaking a container of candy as she looked into it before popping one into her mouth and biting down onto it roughly. "Last I checked murders don't need to be respected" Rumor spat out glaring at her angrily. "I think that you need to respect me of all people Rumor dear or else I'm going to have to teach you a lesson"

[Eden]

"Bring it on if you still got any fight in you that is" Rumor said growling the words out through clenched teeth. "I will make sure this is a lesson you won't forget you brat" she said pulling on a pair of black fingerless gloves before punching the fists together. "Lets see how much the past years have taught you" she said before throwing the now empty container of candy at Rumor before running forward and hitting it with her fist before hitting it into the paper barrier Rumor formed to protect himself. As the metal container was crushed under the pressure it disappeared before a small black hole opened up sucking in the paper along with the unknown girl. Rumor cursed lightly before jumping into the black hole as well popping back out in the middle of a empty alleyway. A few feet away stood the same girl smirking at Rumor with a mean look on her face. "Now we can play for real" she said smashing her fist into the ground causing a tremor to travel through it before large rock spikes popped into the air under Rumor giving him just enough time to flip backwards to avoid being skewered. "I guess that you aren't the type to go easy on family members" he cursed the paper that was in the alleyway moving up and circling around her before blocking him from view when it finally cleared away Rumor was no longer there but instead there stood three of his paper clones still taking the shape of how he used to look before he 'died'. "Then I won't feel bad about not going easy on you mom"

[Eden]

The three paper clones moved forward at once one flipping up and over the woman before turning on one leg and bringing his heel up to try and kick her as the other two tried to kick from the front. The girl ducked down letting the three kicks all converge on each other making a large booming noise. The girl grabbed one of the legs turning as she stood up to slam the bodies into each other before throwing all three of them out of the alleyway and into the crowded street. The girl jumped forward flying through the air before raising her fist into the air and smashing it back down into the street slowing her down along with creating a large crater in the street. "Come on boy I taught you better then this"

[Eden]

The real Rumor approached the side of the building he was hiding on top of looking down at the street below him. Smiling faintly Rumor jumped off the side of the building letting himself free fall for a little while before throwing out a whip of paper that wrapped around a lamp post. Swinging around Rumor brought both feet and slammed them into the side of his mother's head sending her flying down the street before smashing into a truck. "That's the boy I remember" she said standing up and shaking her head to try and get her vision to focus.

Rumor only shook his head pulling on the whip to bring the paper back down before forming it into a large paper shuriken and throwing it at his mother not wanting to give her time to regain her composure.

As the paper neared her the women jumped up and over it landing just in time to be met with her sons knee coming up and connecting with her stomach. Pulling the paper from the shuriken back and wrapping his mother up tightly. "I don't think you ever spent enough time with me to even be able to remember anything about me" he said coldly unhooking the first canister off of the back of his belt. Pulling the end he put the end around his mother before throwing the canister into a nearby building anchoring her. "I wasn't going anywhere you know" she said pulling on the paper harness to show this. Rumor just smiled taking a seat on the ground. "Ohh I know you aren't able to but I know your going to want to try and run" he said closing his eyes still smiling.
