Gengi's Bloodlust

Jouten ran into a large open room, lit only by the faint light of torches on the wall. He took a few steps forward, and then stopped. He knew something was there with him. He threw off his paper robe, only leaving his black battle shirt and pants.

" If you want to fight, then come on out. I don't like people who hide and attack from the shadows." he said.

Suddenly a massive whirlwind appeared in the center of the room, and Gengi stepped out of it.

" Your senses have gotten sharper since the last time I saw you Jouten, and you have a meaner look in your eyes. I wonder if your stronger then before?"

Jouten remained still, his eyes shifting slightly at Gengi's words.

" Why don't you ask Taihou that? He found the answer himself" Jouten said as he took out two sheets of paper, and sharpened them.

Gengi held his Techno-scythe in front of him, and smirked " So you were the one who killed Taihou, I didn't think you had it in you. Well I guess all that leaves is for me to avenge him."

Jouten took a battle stance " Isn't your organization trying to bring the end war right now? Shouldn't you be worrying about your mission more then me? Oh well, I don't care about your reasons, lets just end this fight." he said as the aura around him rose up.

Gengi remained silent and rushed forward at Jouten, and swung rapidly with his scythe. Jouten continued to dodge, and then back flipped out of the last attack.

He was waiting for an opening, one where he could end Gengi with one hit. Jouten suddenly got an idea, and waited for Gengi to come to him. As Gengi rushed at him once more, Jouten threw both sheets of paper, and Gengi quickly sliced them both up. Jouten suddenly appeared in from of Gengi with the Speed Burst Blur, and with electricity in hand, stabbed him directly in the stomach. As Gengi fell to the ground, Jouten walked forward.

Suddenly Jouten was cut across the back, and as he turned he saw Gengi, completely unharmed. " What the hell? How did you avoid damage from that?"

Gengi grabbed Jouten by the scruff of his black shirt " I was never hit by you at all, in fact you only thought you hit me. You see my Techno-scythe as a very special technique, it can creates all kinds of vibrations and sounds, and since your a paper master it affected you all the more, you even couldn't judge where I was properly. This was the worst match up for you, and because of that, you will die"

Jouten kicked himself free from Gengi and jumped back. As he landed, he felt the sound affecting his stomach, and head. He suddenly threw up, and fell over. The blood slowly pouring out of his back, Jouten knew he was close to death.

( Damn it, I didn't expect him to have a ability like that. He was right this is the worst match up for me, though i'm not giving up. I will pull out every trick I know to defeat this bastard. ) Jouten thought to himself.

As Gengi approached once more, Jouten jumped to his feet, and started dashing around the large room with his Speed Burst Blur. He didn't have time to waste, and Gengi wouldn't know what hit him.

" Its time for Plan B, Hit everywhere at once with everything I got!"

Jouten threw all his paper out in the open at once, surrounding Genji and allowing Jouten to form his lightning cage. Jouten then immediately fired off his Railgun at point blank, with Genji still trapped in the cage.

Genji smirked as smoke started to fill the area, and the Railgun hit him, destroying the cage in the process.

Jouten fell to his knees breathing hard " Damn it, he better not still be alive when the smoke clears."

As the smoke cleared, Genji walked out of it, but not looking the same as before. His black overshirt was now completely red, and his Techno-scythe had 3 blades on the end of it now. " You should of realized that the smoke came from me, not the attack. But being able to push me this far, i'm impressed. It looks like I finally get to use this form again, Level 2 of Salvation."

Jouten just continued to smirk in the face of Genji's true power, but he knew he was now quickly running out of options.

"Ah, ah, ah! Not so fast there Mister." A voice sounded a cheery and confident voice, Gabe's voice laughing in a declaration of existence. A sudden light sparked in front of Genji's face and flame erupted towards him, mostly an half hearted attempt to put some distance between him and Jouten. Ace had been watching the fight and could already see the tide of battle. He walked up from his position revealing himself to both the combatants and crossed his arms. He did not know what Genji's second form granted him but he had stopped caring he didn't really like him and as soon as he got within range he's wipe that smug expression off his face.

"Hay, Jouten was it? Think you can still fight or should I take over? Either way I need you alive, so try not to get yourself killed until this is over at the very least." Ace said sounding irritated at the situation. Ace recalled Genji's earlier statement about his sythe and it's ability what would this second form bring to the table?

"Genji was that your name? I believe you said your weapon creates sound waves that can alter your opponents perceptions... Funny I guess that means that I will enjoy this." Ace was ready for an actual fight since he got here the most he fought were the people he had to fight through on the way here and that wasn't much of a battle. Although he was simply following the Black jade's direction he found someone he vaguely remembered all in all this was looking to be a pretty good day. The Jade in his forehead began to glow and he grinned getting ready for the fight.

"Your Ace right?" Jouten said in shock. He could barely move anymore, and he was still bleeding pretty badly. He put his back to the wall and slumped down. He figured he could at least leave this guy to Ace, since there were still more enemies ahead.

" Go ahead and fight him. I don't know if you remember me or not, but these terrorist bastards need to be brought down, and I realize now I can't do it all alone." he said barely grinning.

Genji glared at Ace, wiping the dust off himself from the attack. " Nice little light show, you got me interested"

Genji quickly swung his 3 bladed Techno-scythe over his shoulder and dashed towards Ace ; " Your name's Ace huh? Very well, will you give me more of a warm up then that sack of meat over there? Huh!?"

Genji struck straight at Ace, but because of Super powered perception altering, it appeared to be coming from 3 directions. Above, Behind, and from the front.

[Inukazan]

Ace grinned his chuckled being a bit louder than one would expect as he felt the three stirkes come towards him Ace's Jade glowed brightly for a few seconds and Gabriel blocked Genji's weapon with his own Broadsword.

"I find it interesting this ability of your I beleive it works mainly on vibrations. Well I guess that makes me your worst enemy I can manipulate the energy around me and to do that I need to be able to see it I can see your attacks comming at me from a mile away. Of course not that it matters I'll be roasting you alive in either case!" Ace shouted drawing his fist back sparks trailing across the air the only thing in his mind was the though of the air igniting from the release of energy there. Ace only had fire on his side at the moment but he was more than armed enough with that alone to handle this one fighter. Or so he believed for all his bravado the Jade kept reminding him to be careful this one had more tricks up his sleeves than he let on. Ace let the energy loose and the air in the area was being eaten up it would get harder to breathe in a few seconds a distractioin mostly so he could aim for Genji's vital areas.

Genji noticed right away that the air was being consumed, so he did the only thing he could, started spinning his Techno-scythe rapidly, and created a whirlwind.

" Eat this!" he shouted, throwing the newly created whirlwind at Ace.

[Inukazan]

(They are the same person Gabe has amnesia and so calls himself Ace because that's what everyone else calls him. Gabe lost his paper powers in his absence and looks slightly different now. Want to know anything else? I can fill you in if you want.)

Ace blinked as he saw the whirlwind heading for him and realized that the only energy left in the air was the whirlwind itself, Which posed the problem of him getting it without him being tossed about like a rag doll.

Gabe had no extra energy to use so he had to use his own he pointed his finger at the Whirlwind and focused a pinpoit of energy at it. "Life is dead." He murmured to himself as the shot the small beam through the whirlwind as it collided with him throwing him back. Although despite his own peril he was able to take satisfaction in the fact his shot got off and was heading directly for Genji. Now all that was left to see was if he noticed it.

The shot of energy went right through Genji's stomach, leaving a hole that started bleeding intensely.

" Damn it, I underestimated him. Ok Then your strong, I'll give you that. I will show my ultimate Technique, and kill everyone here. Hell, I probably will die from this too, but if I can wipe you out it will at least help our plans"

Genji quickly threw his Techno-scythe into the air, and it split into 3 separate scythes. Each scythe charged a large energy blast, and each shot out from a different direction, all of them converging on Ace and Jouten.

Jouten attempted to move, but he had lost to much blood and just fell flat on his face.

" This isn't good. Can't dodge......"

(Gabe dissapeared for a...rather unusual amount of time when he came back he had amnesia and had no paper powers, the Jade on his forehead allows him to manipulate energy allowing him to pull some pretty cool tricks and making it seem like he has more than one power. *Reads previous post, see the words "Ultamate technique" Time to get awesome.*)

Ace gasped as he brought himself to his feet intime to see the energy converge towards Jouten and himself. He cursed and ran over towards Jouten and Put his hand in front of him.

"THIS IS GONNA HURT!" He shouted The black jade glowing brightly as the energy converged on them both. Ace flt his arm catch fire as the released energy flowed over his arm devouring as a source of feul causing him to involuntarily scream at the intense pain. The energy that Genji unleashed flashed brighter and began reflecting away from both outen and Ace. Ace looked back a pianed expression on his face as he continued trying to move the attack away from him and Jouten. "Can't...keep this up...for long...wasn't fast enough bringing up the sheild. I...I..." Ace trailed off feeling his energy being drawn out of his body. "I miscalculated? Damnit!" Ace snapped his fingers on his free hand and put it out. He could draw in the excess energy from this attack maybe get enough to heal himself and maybe JOuten, it's a long shot turning destructive energy into constructive energy but he had a chance as long as he could hold out a bit longer.

Genji smiled in delight, pacing towards Ace and Jouten.

" You won't be able to hold onto that energy for long, and when you finally let it go, this entire underground section of the mansion will be completely blown away. We're all going to die, just except it" he said as the 3 scythes in the air combined back into his Techno-scythe and he caught it.

" You better have a plan, or Genji's right, and we will die" Jouten said clutching his bleeding body, fading more as the battle went on.

Ace grinned as he watched Genji get closer to him, his face a visage of glee. He found the entire situation hilarious he needed an Oscar for his performance, with the bright light it was relatively easy for him to plant his end move's set up. Actually he found it so funny he was having a hard time keeping his composure his laughter rung out clearly for a few seconds. "Genji before you go, I'd like to tell you that wild and unfocused energy is the easiest to manipulate, energy with no focus can be changed, of course this makes no sense right? Of course your attack was focused ah heh heh that's the thing My shield? Changes that. after it hit my shield your attack became naught but raw energy for me to use, Hey Jouten you should be feeling a bit of your strength return about now...I'm no healer but I can stabilize conditions. " Ace said this all with a chip tone as if he planned this whole thing out. and as he finished his last sentence Jouten felt warmth flow into him though if it actually helped would be up to him.

"Genji do you the best part about fighting someone who doesn't know you? They don't notice when you stop talking to the Black jade on your forehead, in fact they don't even notice it's gone." As he said this the black jade became visible in front of Genji's face shining darkly as Ace threw back the energy towards it. The Jade sprouted a tiny beam no larger than a laser pointer than cut straight through what ever it touched going straight through the floor aiming to cut Genji in half.

Genji raised up his Techno-scythe just in time to stop the laser from cutting him in half, though it still cut through his Techno-sfcythe and cut through him just enough to leave a large cut. He fell over onto the ground, coughing up blood.

" Damn it, I thought I would have enough energy left over to counter attack gah! Don't worry, i'm not going to try some suicide attack on you two, you have earned your right to move on. Its not like either of you will survive against the stronger members, or whats still in store for you. 2 Seals are now broken, only 1 left hahahaha!" he said, grimacing in pain and then going silent.

Jouten looked down at his own wounds, and saw that for the most part they were healed. He turned to look at Ace, who he realized a bit ago was really Gabe. He didn't want to say anything that would upset Ace or throw his mental state into a panic, this mission was to important for that.

" We should move on. The longer we wait, the closer they get to using the machine that can steal souls. Salvation has always been comprised of tricky bastards" he said brushing off the dust and blood from his body. He began walking towards the door out of the room, but he was hesitant to find out what was next.

Ace frowned and gave a nod before looking over to Genji he appeared dead, when he deflected it Ace had hoped he would survive strength begets one's own right to live. They were running out of time though so he gave a short salute. "Thanks for the fight see you next time." Ace went to follow Jouten towards the door. "So stealing souls? What's going on I came here because I felt a familliar presence and then next thing I know Genji is trying to kill you and your talking about soul stealing machines." He said sounding confused. "Your aura feels familiar so I guess I can trust you but I have no idea what's going on. Can you give me a quick run down?" He asked looking at the door absorbing the left over energy in the area.

Jouten shook his head as they ran through the door at a sprint ; " A lot of has been happening, but to simplify it for you. The organization Salvation is trying to use a machine to that can steal souls, and use it to drive every nation into a united war. Nitas, the leader of salvation, is an immortal who been pulling the strings behind every major war. He recently had his vessel destroyed by me and an immortal named Hoa, but Salvation is trying to buy time for him to find a new vessel, probably an even stronger body. That's why their master plan has been put into motion early. I headed out before any of my comrades, but they should be arriving soon. I thought I could leave a dent but I only managed to take out a few hundred soldiers and one member of Salvation before I ran into trouble. Thanks to you i'm not dead or worse. I don't know if you remember me or not, but I realized you most likely used to be my friend Gabe, but I could be wrong" he said with a smile looking at Ace.

"Okay then let's do this" Ace said simply no time to deal with the implications now he had a job to do.
