Jouten quickly cut Nitas' body into little pieces with lightning fast slashes. He attempted to gather his energy to form one last Electromagnetic Divination, but the darkness surrounded him and started cutting him up.
"Gah! Wha...what is this!? I see you still had a card to play, eh Nitas?" he said as a huge gash appeared in his chest, and sent him flying backwards.
He saw all around him as the sky opened up, and more demonic looking creatures shot out of the sky. It truly looked like the world was going to end, but he no more strength left. He remembered he has those drugs, the ones that would allow his body to continue moving even after being torn up. He hit the ground and everything around him went dark.

Various sounds were shooting off around Jouten. He didn't know what was happening, but it surely wasn't good that he apparently was sleeping for so long. He opened his eyes, and tried sitting up, but felt intense pain when he tried to.
Jouten held his stomach to try to stop the bleeding, breathing heavily. The sky was now filled with fire, and soldiers were battling with demonic looking creatures on the ground.
"Well this went from bad to worse in a matter of moments" Jouten said as he coughed up more blood. A loud shot was fired and a man fell over next to Jouten, dead. Jouten turned his head and saw Carmack standing there with a gun.
"Jouten we need to pull out now. You, Zack, and everyone else pretty much wiped this place out, but your mission to rescue me and stop Nitas will fail if we all die anyway." Carmack said pushing his hair back and firing off another shot, killing a black dog like creature.
Jouten pushed himself off the ground and placed a pill in his mouth, and then began to run in the direction of the castle.
Carmack grabbed Jouten's right arm ; " Jouten your body won't be able to hold up much longer, even if you take those drugs!" he shouted
"I need to go! Or people are going to die. Nitas is still fighting Aaron and the others. I got to re-enter the battle." he shook off Carmack's arm and continued his sprint towards the castle.
Carmack sighed ; " Well this has turned into a battle unlike anything we have ever seen."

Aaron fell over, coughing heavily. Zack stopped himself from falling over by sticking his sword into the ground. Nitas walked forward, laughing "Come now. I thought the last line of defense would be stronger? I absorbed all those souls, so is my power suddenly too great!?" he asked with a tone of sadistic sarcasm.
Jouten quickly flashed in front of Nitas, Zack, and Aaron. He continued to breath deeply and glared at Nitas "I'm going to get revenge for all those souls you took. No more lives will be lost today!" he shouted. He no longer had any doubts about what he had to do. He didn't know if he would live or die, all that mattered is that Nitas would be defeated here. He thought all those who had already lost their lives, and he began to cry.
"Human emotion getting the better of you now boy? I thought you trained yourself to be beyond conflict of the soul" Nitas said calmly, eying the growing aura around the boy.
Jouten shook his head, tears freely falling from his eyes. He went into Aura Mode with the last of his energy, and held both his hands together as he rushed down Nitas. Nitas smirked and attempted to move out of the way, but noticed he was surrounded by at least a 1000 after images of Jouten.
"FULL POWER Kirin Fu Zan!" He shouted. His speed was at it's maximum. He was literally moving so fast it began to tear up his muscles. He was technically in a thousand places at once, but he could only connect with this move once.
Nitas tried attacking all the after images at once with his darkness, but more and more just kept popping up. Jouten was too fast for Nitas to handle.
In his last moment before the final decision could be made, Jouten decided that it was worth everything to end this war. He connected with the Electromagnetic Divination, inserting it directly into Nitas' chest.
Nitas just stood there, in shock that he was unable to stop Jouten from hitting him with that amount of energy.
Jouten slowly backed up, and fell over as his Aura Mode faded away. All his muscles started tightening up all at once, and he gasped in pain "GRAAAAAHHHHH!"
This was beyond any pain he had ever felt. He was nearly gone, fading away. He looked up at Nitas, sweat pouring down his face.
"I don't understand what you did, but it didn't work. I'm still here, alive. As long as there are still pieces of me out there, I can reform." Nitas said while patting his chest.
"Except, now you are not all you. I couldn't use it before, Electromagnetic Divination, because I was unsure if I would be wasting it or not. See the true power behind the ability, is the fact I can insert any form of existence into it. I inserted a piece of my soul directly into you with my last attack, and because of all the other souls in you are not your own, it will start a chain reaction. Your existence is about to end Nitas, and those souls will be able to move on peacefully." he said as he collapsed.
Nitas quickly attempted to summon all his power, forming a giant black sphere directly above the island ; " I will end everything here before that happens!" He shouted. Suddenly his chest began to convulse, and a ray of light shot out from within. His body began deteriorating at a rapid pace, and he attempted to kill Jouten with the last of his energy.
Suddenly Zack appeared behind Nitas and slashed off his head. As his body faded away right there, Nitas smiled himself in midair ; "So this is the strength of the human spirit. Interestingly enough, there still exist those who claim this world as their own. I was mistaken by a great many things...but as long as darkness exists in the human heart, I will exist in some capacity. I will be the one whispering into the ears of those who follow the path of darkness!" he said as he finally completely vanished.
Jouten tried moving but couldn't, his body was totally shot. Zack managed to pick him up, as they both looked towards the sky. The massive black energy sphere Nitas gathered was still there, in an unstable condition. Without him there to control it, the energy would fall on the island and destroy it completely.
"We need to leave now, with everybody. There is nothing more we can do here" Zack said.
Jouten slowly closed his eyes. Zack was right. All that was left here was death and destruction. His thoughts wondered for awhile before he drifted off into unconsciousness.

Jouten sat up suddenly, clutching his now bandaged chest "What happened!? Where am I?" he asked. He saw that he was now in the air on top of a paper familiar. Zack and Aaron were in front of him, along with Fenir and Carmack both who were in the front controlling it.
"Yo, looks like you're awake. I was worried those wounds would have put you out for a week." Zack said as coughed up some blood.
Jouten laughed. It wasn't a forced laugh, but it sure as hell hurt ; "You don't look any better than I do." he said as he noticed there was only 5 of them on the familiar "Where is everyone else? All of Rumor's people, Gabe, they made it out, right?" he asked.
Zack nodded and pointed behind them, where apparently a giant turtle was in the water ; "That's where they all ended up, after the island exploded with that dark energy sphere."
Jouten let out a sigh of relief and fell onto his back. Looking up at the bright blue sky, being above the ocean, and being with his friends. Nothing could stamp out the happiness he was feeling at that moment. The fighting was over, he could finally just live again. He didn't exactly know the affect of all he did to his body during all those battles he fought, but he didn't care at that moment.
"WE WON!!!!!!!!" He yelled on the top of his lungs. Zack and Aaron smiled, remaining silent. He said all that needed to be said.
SALVATION ARC- END
(It's finally over eh? 3 years of writing this story arc, and it was a blast throughout the entire thing. It slowed down drastically when some of the more active members stopped logging on, but as a writer I felt like I needed to finish it, even if it was at times not held up to the same quality as earlier plots. The last year as been a tough push forward to finish this, but I finally found the energy to finish it. Now with a rejuvenated purpose, I feel the next story arc should flow much smoother, and be overall shorter. I currently have other RP projects beginning, but that should actually help keep me motivated to keep up the work on here too. It's the end and also a new beginning for our site, so time to pursue new things! Cheers-Jouten)
