High Chance, Low Times

The hospital was a bit different from other hospitals, but considering the fact he hadn't been to a hospital in months, he might not be remembering it right. Jouten let out a small sigh as he sat in the hospital bed, bandaged up head to toe.

He didn't understand why seemingly every time he was wounded he needed to be wrapped up in places where he wasn't even injured. It had been about a week since he checked in at a local hospital in Tokyo, and he already felt his strength returning. Jouten wished the doctors would let him leave already, but they insisted that he stay longer. They probably didn't understand how fast he was able to heal up. He just sat their silently, alone in the room, with only the breeze of the window keeping him from going insane with boredom.

He honestly didn't even know what to do after he did left the hospital. This was the first time in his life that another fight or conflict wasn't around the corner. With the defeat of Nitas and Salvation, there wasn't really anything left for him to do.

"I guess I should just try living a normal...life" he said out loud in a depressed tone, slumping back into bed.

"Jou Jou~?"

"Sir you're not suppose to go in there!" The sudden noise of Gabe's arrival shattered the silence like so many unfortunate mirrors, a distressed nurse trying her best to convince the overly optimistic man to leave. As Gabe entered the room it became apparent he was still injured albeit not enough to keep him from wandering.

"There you are Jouten! I was looking for you, wanted to talk now that I can remember things, you're not too laid up for that yet right? No wait you look fine enough and if I remember correctly you never really cared much your condition. Heh, You look down though something wrong?" Gabe was like a verbal machine gun not stopping his word vomit until he noticed Jouten's expression. Gabe never liked seeing others down, and it usually took a lot to get Jouten down. "Blazing Hells Jouten I don't think I've seen that face, or have I? Can't remember. But I think I see a something bothering you so if you want me to shut up like so many people have been telling me recently, then talking might be a good idea don't you think?"

Well at least he seemed to be in a decent mood.
