He can protect any non-Void creature inside the Void and protect Voidlings he summons from their weakness to sunlight. He can make a person go insane from looking directly into his eyes for too long (the time it takes varies on the persons mental strength.)
Weapons: A tiki torch made from an indestructible Void metal. The torch is lit by an undying flame named Asura, the soul of the man that separated Earth and the Void. He can use Asura to null another Void creature’s power at the cost of his own (this effect lasts as long as Aleka needs it to.)
Physical Abilities: Strength, relfexes and speed superior to an average human. Master hand to hand and bow staff expert.
Specific Weaknesses: Sunlight, though an average day’s worth is not enough to kill him.

History: He was raised by his mother until he was eight when he was sent to a boarding school in California. His home was destroyed when he returned (now eighteen) and he found his mother, recently murdered, in her home. Before him stood a ghastly shade, blood dripping off the edge of its sword. He charged at it, but was suddenly pulled through a rift in space to the Void. His father, a being of the Void, had pulled him through to train him in the ways of the Void. He mastered his heritage over the next four years. On the day he returned to Earth his father was attacked by the same shade that had killed his mother. Holding his dying father in his arms Aleka swore vengeance against the person responsible for killing his parents. With his last breath Aleka’s father summoned the Torch of Asura and handed it to Aleka. He now searches the globe for any malefic entity from the Void in attempt to rid the world of their blight.
Any other information you want: The Void is a realm of darkness that exists besides Earth. Creatures and beings from the Void often retain a connection to their home realm giving them abilities in magic. Aleka, being half human and born in the realm of Earth, doesn’t have the ability to transform into a Void creature but gives him immunity to normally lethal doses of sunlight often found only in the most powerful Void beings.
