Rumor stormed through the doors his eyes glistening angrily with Castellanus trailing behind him looking concerned. "Phoenix we need to finish this" he ground out throwing a piece of paper at the immortal. As the paper neared the being it exploded into flames.
The being stood up slowly his entire figure glistening with power. His right arm seeped with mystical force making it hard to look at. His left hand grabbed his massive sword pulling it free as he towered over them all. "I think it is time to end this all" he grumbled out his voice shaking the hall. "I shall finally put an end to the pitiful beings that call this place home"

Jouten stared at the immortal known as Phoenix and realized he got the same feeling looking at him as he did when he fought Nitas, except this one felt slightly less evil and maybe more divine? he didn't care who this monster of an immortal was supposed to be though, he would use his powers to their fullest and put an end to anyone who threatened him or others he cared about. He took a battle stance, ready to counter attack whatever he would try.

Rumor gritted his teeth Pulling his arm back and forming a fist before swinging it forward firing a ball of flames at the immortal standing before him. As the orb hit him it exploded creating a huge pillar of fire that covered Phoenix entirely. Rumor frowned a little knowing that it wasn't going to be that easy. As if to prove his suspicions correctly the flames converged onto one spot being sucked into the arcane arm that Phoenix had. He smiled at the group before moving his hands out. "Let me show you what a real immortal is capable of" he said snapping his fingers setting Caster on fire but not putting out enough energy to kill the younger immortal.

Jouten dashed at Phoenix as soon as he he attacked, making sure to leave no room for him to escape. He brought his hands forward and unleashed his full powered Railgun straight at Phoenix, not caring what he destroyed in the process.

Caster fell to the ground passing out from the pain that was caused to him leaving only Rumor and Jouten to fight against Phoenix. The man smirked as Jouten attacked him simply raising his blue arm up to take in the full power of the attack. Rumor grunted jumping away just narrowly to avoid the large fire blast that was sent out of Phoenix's other hand. The flames were a deep blue and seemed to have lightning running through it. "I won't be that easy boy" he said smiling as he reached out aiming his arm at Jouten firing off the same power right at the boy.

Jouten watched with shock on his face that his own attack was turned back at him. He held out his hands and managed to stop the full force of it, and then redirect it into the ceiling, right through the roof. He fell to his knees and looked at his burned hands, knowing just how dangerous Phoenix now was. Jouten quickly jumped back on and dashed right at the immortal. " If energy blasts don't work then hand to hand combat will!" he said as he kicked Phoenix into the air. Using his unnatural speed he managed to unleash a barrage of punches and kicks to Phoenix's face and gut before finally slamming him back into the ground with an elbow to the stomach. Jouten landed in front of the immortal and smirked ; " Had enough?" he asked mockingly

Phoenix shook his head standing up as if nothing had happened. "Do you really think that after living through the whole history of your people that a few simple punches or kicks would do anything to me" he asked cracking his neck in both directions a cruel smile on his lips. "I don't think that you are even taking me seriously" he said teleporting right in front of Jouten. "I was fighting gods before your race even crawled from the ooze and walked on the land" he said picking up Jouten and hefting him into the air so that he was forced to look at the immortals face. "Even Rumor would be able to put up more of a fight" he finished up as his arm began to glow a bright red surging towards his hand.
Rumor had seen this happen a number of times so he picked up one of the canisters he had and threw the whole content of the paper at the other immortals arm stopping the surge of power at the wrist and causing it to unleash backwards singing Phoenix's arm. "Jouten the only way to really beat him is by using his own powers against him." Rumor said before being kicked away by Phoenix.

Jouten slammed his fists on the ground, understanding the power difference between Phoenix and him. ( Damn it! I thought after my boost in power I would at least be able to put up a fight. I guess that was to much to hope for, since I got no proper training) he thought to himself. He felt true despair for the first time. Despair that he wasn't strong enough. His eyes welled up with tears and everything was going blurry. It was almost like that time he fought Mr. Gentleman but except this time he felt in control.
Suddenly there appeared to be a wind around Jouten. He stood straight up and a blackish red aura swirled around him, spiking his hair. His eyes turned red and a two handed red sword appeared in his left hand. He realized that he now had the powers of Shunketsu, like the time he met him in the cave of evil. He held the dark red blade with both hands and felt the strength well up inside him ; " Rumor, I don't know what has happened to me, but I believe I can hold back anything this guy now throws at me." he said with an unnatural calmness.

Phoenix sighed flicking his hand in boredom. "Pitiful mortal no matter how you struggle this building will still be your grave" he said resting his hand on top of his blade. "Shall I show you true pain?" he asked stroking the hilt almost lovingly before taking hold of it and pulling out the blade that seemed almost see through at times and fully black at others. "With this sword I have killed gods, destroyed planets and created black holes and today it will be used to destroy you" he said flicking the sword causing the entire side of the room to disintegrate and sending out a shock wave through the oceans floor tearing apart the landscape and making the water billow outward causing tsunami's all along the coasts.
Rumor pulled out a small piece of metal from his back pocket. "I guess it couldn't be avoided then if we are all going to show our true power I will give you a glimpse of mine father" he said almost mockingly. "I have never used this against another being that has ever lived and after you are dead the only ones that will know of this will be me and Jouten here" he continued holding the metal out. "Release Umbra Falx" he said a large two headed black scythe forming from the blade.

Jouten walked forward calmly and suddenly appeared in front of Phoenix. He quickly swung his blade out and cut off Phoenix's right arm. Jouten then punched him, sending him flying through the nearby wall. " Is that all? I was expecting more, you damn immortal" he growled.

Phoenix growled flames spouting from his shoulders to reform his arm as his blade moved back to his hand. "Pitiful human how dare you raise your hang against me" he growled out hefting his blade up as he took his fighting stance. His blade slashed out at Jouten with so much force that even if it was avoided or blocked the shockwave left behind would destroy all in its way

Jouten raised his right hand slowly while whispering something. As the blade came into contact with Jouten's right hand it was easily stopped ; " You don't seem to realize that your usual tactics for killing your opponents won't work on me. I won't let you destroy anything" he said with a low tone. He quickly jumped up, spun around and with his left leg kicked Phoenix's head, almost with enough power to take it off. Jouten then whispered again and suddenly multiple red colored blades impaled Nitas ; " I guess your the one who is going to suffer" he said with a certain satisfaction in his voice.

Phoenix cried out in alarm his whole body disappearing in flames before flinging backward freeing him from the blades as he reformed. He grunted watching Jouten with an annoyed look. "How can some human have this level of power" he said his eyes narrowing. "It shouldn't be possible."
Rumor cleared his throat causing the other immortal to turn his attention to him. The young Paper was smiling faintly. "Jouten isn't like normal people and the sooner you realize that the better" he said turning to look at his friend. "I like the new hair style" he said giving a innocent smile before turning back and lifting up the Scythe. He slashed it forward cutting through the air making a hissing noise. Phoenix smirked blocking the attack easily only to have his back explode open blood spewing out from a large gash. "Lets see how you fare versus my Shadow Scythe then shall we?"

Jouten smirked ; " I didn't even realize I look different, but it figures my form would change with this much power. I guess I will let you take over the battle for now. Just tell me when you need my help" he said sitting on the ground, crossing his legs and arms.

"You know your help is always welcome" he said slashing three more times each being blocked only to have wounds open elsewhere on the other mans body. "I would figure that you would learn by now to not underestimate me father" he said lifting his blade up to show the blood that was dripping from the scythe.
Phoenix frowned looking at his own blade in confusion. "How is this possible? I keep blocking all of your attacks" he grunted out as his back began to smoke while the wounds healed themselves. Rumor simply smiled wiggling his finger taunting the other immortal. Phoenix blindly swung his blade at the smaller boy only to have it blocked as a number of cuts appeared up his arm before finally it was cut off.
"I'm not actually attacking you how you think" Rumor said flicking the scythe. "Your being hit by my 'shadow'" he explained smirking.
