After passing through the door, Jouten and Ace continued to run down the hallway for what seemed like hours, and finally something happened.
" It's time to put an end to all this." A voice called out from the darkness in front of Jouten and Ace.
Jouten quickly stopped running, and noticed they were now in a chamber, with a elevator in the middle.
" Come on up, and we will decide the fate of your world!" The voice shouted again.
Jouten looked nervously at Ace, and then started heading towards the elevator. He had to stall Salvation for just a bit longer, and it appeared they finally made it to the main chamber.

"That was foreboding and oddly comforting." Ace mused aloud, "Almost like watching an old telivision show..." He chuckled lightly trying to lift his own mood. "So this is the end of the line eh? Think we're ready for this a bit optimistic or are you the solem truth type?" He asked cracking his knuckles he was still confused as all hells but he wasn't about to back down now.

" I have never been one to be overly optimistic, not since my life was turned upside down 10 months ago. Honestly, we probably don't have a chance of making it out alive, but we can at least stall them. Any last words you would care to share? I know I have a few" he laughed, though it was obvious to see his tension. They got into the elevator, and it started to head towards the surface once again.
He thought back to all his friends, his adopted family, and even his old enemies he had fought for his life against. All those memories were precious to him, and he wanted to protect everyone so they could continue to make new memories.

Sitting back in his chair, Kain took a sip of wine, spinning the glass in his hand.
" Its music to my ears, the machines in this room have already started to create those monsters like you said." he said with a delightful grin.
Roze stepped out of the shadows and pushed her hair out of her face, and glared at Kain ; " Don't get over confident, just because Nitas granted you additional power while he was away doesn't mean you can treat Jouten Kira like some common brat. Several of our member have been defeated and killed. I'm the only Higher left, so if I go down next then the master plan will be put into overdrive, and there will be no way to stop it."
Kain put his hands together " I know that. leave it to me, and go get Zane. I have enough power to crush both of the intruders, even if they come at me at the same time.
Roze nodded as ran though the nearby door, and Kain turned to face the elevator door at the other end of the room. It was time to get this show on the road, and they were the last bit of opposition.

"Last words are for those who have no will to live any longer... At east that's what my gut tells me the jade says I shouldn't be so quick to die. Either way I play on enjoying myself. Maybe remembering something before I go if I do." Ace said frowning, "I can't remember anything I traded my old powers and life away but for what I can not remember for that reason was also given I believe I was cheated...And I do know that I am a sore loser. This jade took something from me and if it kills me I plan on getting it back, if not for me then for those I left behind. This isn't a solemn statement made in the face of death oh no, this is my oath I will fight and struggle and kick and scream and curse the whole way down if I have to. This is my resolve I refuse to give up under any circumstances. So if your ready, let's get this thing started." Ace said a bit of the old gabe showing through the mask of amnesia that plagued him. His old honest personality that took everything lightly but seriously yeah he was still there just not awake but then again even asleep Gabriel could keep fighting.

Jouten showed the apprehension in his face, but turned away from Ace. He didn't like his allies knowing his emotions before a battle, but he knew this was a suicide mission from the beginning. Nitas couldn't be stopped by normal means, but Jouten had one plan he intended to put into motion if he should show up. His Tran of thought was interrupted as the elevator came to a stop, opening before both Ace and himself.
As they both stepped out of the elevator, Kain stood out of his seat and threw his glass against the wall, shattering it.
" Hello boys. Thanks for coming to my home, and shaking the place up to be. Only problem here now is that its time to kill you"
The aura in the room suddenly intensified, and Jouten could feel that Kain's killing intent was very real.

"If only things were so simple." Ace muttered his eye's looked at his opponents energy. "That's weird that energy seems almost unnatural." He shook his head and snapped his fingers. "Might as well start things off..." He started an electrical spark speeding across the floor then up into the air. "With a bang!" He finished creating a small lightshow worth of explosive infront of Kain.

Kain smirked at the little show Ace put on, but he had better things to do then fool around. He raised his left arm, and it started changing shape. It turned black and grew larder until it resembled a giant mouth, and then a Dragon's head.
" I don't think I have anymore time. I will skip the pleasantries and use my true power. Time to skip past level2, and got straight to level3!"
( What he has another level of power? Up til now I thought they only had a second stage, but Kain has always been more powerful then some of the others. This is bad) Jouten started dashing at Kain
" Damn it, don't let him transform!"
Jouten quickly fired off a Railgun straight at Kain, who was standing still gathering energy.

Ace saw the flux of energy towards kain and already knew he had too much of a draw for him to sabotage it. He ran straight for Kain or well glided is more like it. He really only had one attack for this something the jade had said would be anywhere near doing the trick...well that wasn;t true he had another move but why give it all away? Exppessially when his final attack wouldn't work here. He drew back his fist energy cackling through it. He really i mean Really didn't want to get close to kain but all his damaging attacks required minimum proximity even being within arms reach and Jouten sounded like he really didn't want Kain to change.
"I really don't want to do this!" He said throwing his fist towards hopefully this would keep Kain from changing but knowing he had small chance. he could only hope his fist would connect and cause the energy Kain was gathering to be released in a huge explosion. He could explain to himself the science behind it if he knew it, but really all he knew was that his fist gathered enough energy and connected with his target it released both of them until it exploded.

Both attacks collided on Kain nearly at the same time, but no explosion, just a cloud of smoke. Jouten noticed Ace went for some kind of close range attack, but there was no telling if it worked. Suddenly Jouten could make out two figures standing in the smoke.
" Well that went better then I could of hoped. Damn this smoke though, its staining my armor."
Kain emerged from the smoke, now covered in what appeared to be black armor, with the helmet in the shape of a dragon, and his chest and arms covered in spikes. He held Ace's fist in his hand without even bothering to look at him.
" How the hell did you stop our attacks!?" Jouten shouted at him.
Kain spit on the ground, with a apprehensive look on his face ; " You do remember my Dragon Slayer's abilities don't you? Whatever it eats it gains the powers of that person or attack. I ate enough of your Railgun to add its powers to my own, and completed my level 3 Transformation in a matter of a second. See in this form, I am the greatest Martial Artist on the planet, because my strength and defense are increased by over 50 times my normal level. Stopping this Punk's energy punch from doing any real damage was a cinch in this form" he said as he kicked Ace in the stomach, with enough force to send him through the nearby wall.
Jouten angrily rushed at Kain, but suddenly stopped with a horrified look on his face. Kain had raised both his arms, aiming them at Jouten. " No way. You can't use that"
Kain smirked " Watch me. Railgun!"
Suddenly a electric burst of energy almost twice as powerful as the one that was thrown at him came out of Kain's hands, and hit Jouten, sending the boy flying into the wall behind him. Jouten fell face first on the ground, leaving an indent on the wall.
Kain punched the ground and left a small crater ; " That can't be all. I'm not satisfied yet"

'Honestly child how long are you going to just let him throw you around? On your feet the battle is still on.' Ace heard the Jade scold him again and gronaed. He didn't really care zthis man outclassed him in essentually all classes he and Jouten were so badly outclassed it was almost comical.
"Funnily enough I feel like I've taken worse..." he chuckled standing up rubbing his stomach.
'You choose to fight the concequences are yours.' The voice resounded in his head.
"Your a load of help...I have one more attack I know will take him out but I can't get close enough to hit him worse yet e could easily deflect it even make me hit myself with it. No openings...close range long range I'd only be feeding him. Guess I'll take my chances." Ace said to himself he dusted himself off and prepared for the next round. Jouten looked like he was hurt he'd have to by some time until he could get back up on his feet. If he could come up witha plan with jouten they may have a solid chance. Ace rushed forward a straight forward frontal assualt this was gonna hurt like hell he could tell.

Kain caught Ace's arms, lifted him in the air, and before he fell over, hit him with a barrage of punches in the gut, before finally headbutting him into the direction of Jouten.
As Ace landed in front of him, Jouten managed to push himself up, coughing as he tried to breath deeply. He had felt more pain in the last 24 hours then in the last few months. He was trying to save his power for a later fight, but he knew now there would be no holding back against Kain.
" I don't know how much longer we can fight back against his level of power, but I believe I can at least pull out my secret and hold him off for a while"

"If you can even keep him from moving for a second I can get him I have a single attack garunteed to take him out it's atually hitting him that's the problem. Well Even if I got him with it, it would probably kill us both as well." Ace gasped holding his stomach, struggling to his feet. "Do I need to distract him?" He asked breathing out and using the spare energy in the room to heal himself. He flex his arms and grinned. "Much better. What's the plan?"

" The plan will be to attack him with your strongest move, after I restrain him. Its not a hard plan, try not to forget it" Jouten said as he walked past Ace.
Kain stared Jouten down, not flinching an inch " I don't believe you have anymore tricks, I already know your fighting style completely."
Jouten stood still in the middle of the room and electricity now started flashing around him ; " I wouldn't be to sure about that. I learned a few new tricks when I fought against Phoenix. Sorry I held back before now, this time its for real!"
Suddenly there appeared to be a wind around Jouten. He stood straight up and a blackish red aura swirled around him, spiking his hair. His eyes turned red and a two handed red sword appeared in the air. He quickly caught it and it swung it around and held it out in front of him with his right hand.
" Sorry to keep you waiting, this is Aura mode, the power once held by Shunketsu" he said as multiple red colored swords spawned around him in the air.
" So you learned to control the power of your previous life, interesting. and you say you beat Phoenix? I was beginning to doubt you as a threat, but you might give me a warm up" Kain stated as he quickly rushed at Jouten.

Ace sighed and planted his feet firmly in place. It take him a bit to prepare his attack to make sure it would definitely kill Kain. He opened his eye's and saw all the energy that made up the area they were in. His body physically shuddered as his consciousness was touched by the energy.
"I can feel that which is true power, and she is not amused." He murmured to himself the shudder changing to an almost statuesque demeanor. His left fist began to glow, literally bursting into flames then suddenly becoming consumed in lighting the energy changing getting higher and higher with every passing millisecond until his hand looked normal to the naked eye. "Oh gods you wouldn't believe how painful this is..." He said to the jade who only laughed as his body was literally being devoured by pure energy and oh by the gods was it killing him. There was a reason the ancestors of the human species rarely used this attack. He really needed Jouten to hurry up and restrain Kain or he'd kill himself and half the building as well. His body wasn't made to handle this and toughing it out wasn't really an option.
"Hey Jouten," Gabriel said a flash of his former self showing through a arrogant smirk of pure confidence playing on his face. He drew his next breath deliberately and finished up. "Kick his ass."

Jouten, while in Aura Mode, could feel the natural energy around him, and knew Ace/Gabe was tapping into it for his next attack. The power of natural energy was nearly unstoppable, so he had no doubts that it would be enough to finish Kain, he just now had to do his part.
Kain charged up energy in his fists, and the energy changed into what appeared to be Dragon Heads. The mouths of the heads opened up and attempted to eat Jouten whole, but two red blades floating around him blocked them. Jouten waved his hand, and using the air itself, slapped Kain into the ceiling.

Kain pushed himself out of the indent in the ceiling, grunting as he fell back to the ground, front flipping and then landing on the floor perfectly. He quickly dispersed his energy dragons, and decided to go with hand to hand combat to deal with Jouten.
Kain used the super strength to jump at Jouten, appearing before him instantly. Jouten quickly dispersed his swords, and took a fighting stance. Kain threw a punch at Jouten, but he managed to get out of the way in time to dodge. Kain's attack still destroyed the ground around Jouten throwing rubble up in the air. knocking Jouten into the air himself.

( Damn it, fighting him in close combat is to risky for either one of us, I'm going to make one last charge at him, and then hit him with the last bit of my energy at once. I only have about 30 seconds left in Aura Mode. )
Jouten quickly bounced off the ceiling, and used his Kirin Fu Zan, quickly appearing behind Kain. Kain quickly turned and lashed out at Jouten, but by the time he did that, Jouten was already behind him again. Jouten put all of his energy into his right arm, which the Red aura around it seemed to come alive and form another arm on top of it, and he used it to punch Kain with so much force, it cracked his armor.
" You brat! Don't think thats enough to kill me! That wasn't enough to shatter my armor!" he shouted as he tried to land on the ground.
" I wasn't trying to shatter your armor, but make you let your guard down. I have you now" Jouten said holding out both his hands.
Kain suddenly noticed that over a hundred blades spawned in the air, and faster then he could react, all converged on him. The blades started hitting off his armor, cutting him hear and there, until finally the last dozen or so finally broke through and impaled him, trapping him in place.
As the blood ran down Jouten's swords, Kain only smiled ; " Don't celebrate yet, just because you were able to wound me, this isn't the same for me as normal person. Since I'm an immortal, I can live with even wounds like this inflicting my body."
Jouten continued to hold his hands out, as the red aura around him faded, and his hair fell back down. His eyes changed from red back to blue, and sweat starting pouring down his face ; " Heh. Don't count us out yet, I wasn't the finale"
Kain looked at Jouten with contempt ; " What do you mean!? You can't even stay transformed anymore."
